• Large-Scale Content Processing – Validated the performance, reliability, and accuracy of a large-scale media monitoring platform responsible for ingesting, processing, and indexing content from print, online, and broadcast sources. Worked with distributed messaging, search, and data processing technologies to ensure customer-facing information remained accurate, complete, and timely.
• Search & Data Quality – Designed and executed performance, API, and integration tests for the company’s content search platform, validating that millions of indexed documents could be searched efficiently while maintaining relevance and accuracy. Worked closely with development teams to identify bottlenecks and improve both processing performance and search quality.
• Production Releases & Troubleshooting – Supported production software releases by validating deployments, investigating release issues, and helping diagnose problems across application services, infrastructure, and deployment tooling. Became a trusted technical resource for troubleshooting complex production issues and ensuring successful software releases.
• Understanding Complex Systems – Working across content ingestion, search infrastructure, backend services, and deployment processes provided an opportunity to understand how large distributed systems operate in production. Looking back, this role laid much of the foundation for the troubleshooting, systems thinking, and reliability engineering work that would later become central to my career.
