• Building Test Automation – Designed and implemented Assent’s first browser-based automated testing framework using Selenium WebDriver and C#. The framework significantly expanded automated test coverage, reduced reliance on manual testing, and accelerated validation of new software releases while improving confidence in production deployments.
• Leading the QA Team – Led a five-person QA team responsible for test strategy, release validation, and software quality across the company’s SaaS compliance platform. Worked closely with developers and product teams to establish testing standards, improve release processes, and ensure new features met quality expectations before reaching production.
• Improving Release Quality – Introduced automation into the software delivery process to identify defects earlier in the development lifecycle and reduce production risk. The combination of automated browser testing, structured validation, and improved test coverage enabled faster release cycles while reducing late-stage testing effort.
• Troubleshooting & Cross-Team Collaboration – Became a trusted technical resource for complex application issues, partnering with developers to investigate difficult defects, validate fixes, and improve overall application quality. I particularly enjoyed working through challenging problems that required understanding both the application and the underlying technical implementation.
